About the Project
The project “Establishment of a STEAM Lab at HSUHK” is an initiative of the Common Core Curriculum Office (CCCO) at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK). Dedicated to cultivating a creative, collaborative, and inquiry-driven learning environment across the fields of STEAM, the key objectives of the STEAM Lab are to:
- Provide project-based learning opportunities that enable students to design and implement STEAM projects under professional guidance;
- Organise workshops and training sessions for students and secondary school teachers, equipping them with practical STEAM knowledge, hands-on skills, and effective teaching and learning strategies;
- Invite distinguished experts and practitioners to share insights on STEAM topics and inspire transdisciplinary thinking and collaboration;
- Provide state-of-the-art tools for students and teachers to engage in STEAM learning and innovative projects; and
- Facilitate online access to high-quality resources to promote STEAM education.
