Module Description

This module encourages students to explore the purpose of higher education and its role in shaping both personal and intellectual growth. It examines the historical development of universities, the balance between tradition and innovation, and the evolving expectations of graduates in a changing world. Students will reflect on the connections between society, culture, and technology, gaining insights into the challenges and opportunities of the future. Through interdisciplinary learning, they will also develop an understanding of essential qualities such as social responsibility, global awareness, and creativity, which are crucial for navigating an increasingly interconnected and dynamic world. By engaging with diverse perspectives and critical inquiry, this module fosters adaptability and a mindset of lifelong learning.
