Module Description

本單元旨在探討當代香港社會結構、變遷與現況。內容涵括香港的歷史、社會、經濟、文化、政治、與周邊地區的關係等範疇；期望透過實證的資料激發學生對社會的想像力，讓學生了解香港的不同面貌、更關注社會上不同群體，並能運用多元分析能力透析香港社會各種現像。

Module Intended Learning Outcomes (MILO)

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
a. 辨識當代香港社會、經濟、文化、政治的重要議題；
b. 從歷史、文化及社會結構分析戰後香港社會在政治、經濟及人口方面的演變；
c. 運用實證資料與個案深入分析香港社會在人口、教育、市區重建、房屋、文化產業與保育及區域合作與競爭的重要議題；
d. 就人口、教育、市區重建、房屋、文化產業與保育、區域合作與競爭等議題作出批判性的綜合評鑑
