Module Description

Ethical and effective collaboration, as well as work performance, are vital for achieving organizational goals in today’s interconnected world. Therefore, it is crucial to equip students with knowledge in interpersonal interactions, persuasion, negotiation, and teamwork, regardless of their academic backgrounds. Furthermore, evaluating team or group decisions with ethical considerations is also a critical concern.

This module aims to prepare students for working in groups or teams in the workplace by examining ethical issues that commonly arise in small group settings. The focus will be on key ethical values, including justice, responsibility, reasonableness, and honesty. Students will learn how to promote these values in their group work while enhancing their understanding of teamwork and ethics.

The primary objective of this module is to enhance students’ knowledge of the importance of ethics in teamwork and interpersonal interactions, which are essential for effective and responsible collaborations and work performance in modern organizations. Through a combination of lectures and scenario-based class discussions, students will learn how to apply ethics and teamwork principles in common organizational scenarios. These discussions will explore a range of ethical concerns related to teamwork and interpersonal interaction issues, enabling students to navigate the complexities of the modern workplace with the knowledge and skills necessary.
